King Charles III, formerly known as The Prince of Wales, was born in 1948 and became heir apparent following the death of Queen Elizabeth II
His Majesty has taken a keen and active interest in all areas of public life for decades. The King has been instrumental in establishing more than 20 charites over 40 years, the Prince's Trust, The Prince's Foundation and The Price of Wales's Charitable Foundation. His Majesty has worked closely with many organisations, publicly supporting a wide variety of causes.
This bear embraces the accesion of The King and celebrates a new Sovereign. His regal robe adds splendour together with The King's cypher embroidered on one foot pad and musical notes on the other.

ASQUITHS was established in 1984 and became one of the World's first Teddy Bear Shops. In March 2023 Asquiths passed into the safe hands of Rachel and has moved to its new home, still within Henley on Thames.
The Teddy Bears and some of their furry friends can be found in their new Grade II listed home in the centre of Henley and just a short stroll from the river Thames.
