Merrythought Bear - Charlie

Charlie is an exclusive, limited edition Teddy Bear specially commissioned by Henley Royal Regatta to commemorate the Regatta’s new Royal patron, His Majesty King Charles III. The blazer Charlie wears is a replica of a blazer designed by Crew Clothing Company and the badge is a miniature version of the Stewards’ Enclosure Member’s Badge. 

In addition to being available directly from Henley Royal Regatta, Asquiths are thrilled to also be able to offer this beautiful limited edition bear—one of just 150—both in-store and online.

Each bear is lovingly hand-made from the finest premium materials, and finished with a prestigious stamp of approval- the Merrythought label stitched to the right paw.

The story of Merrythought began in 1930; The original factory in Ironbridge, Shropshire, remains Merrythought’s home to this day; a magical place where each teddy bear is brought to life using the finest materials and traditional craftsmanship that has been handed down the four generations of the company.
