Created in Merrythought’s historic Ironbridge factory, this collectable Aunt Lucy bear combines four generations of British teddy bear-making expertise with fine natural materials. Her silver-tipped mahogany mohair plush, pure wool felt detailing and friendly hand-stitched smile capture the gentle spirit of the beloved film character.

Aunt Lucy is dressed in a gingerbread-coloured wool felt overcoat with pocket and button detailing. Her traditional Peruvian-style hat features marmalade-coloured trim and a yellow flower, while signature gold-rimmed spectacles and a wooden beaded necklace complete her familiar appearance. Rather beautifully turned out for her next adventure.

An heirloom celebrating family, kindness and belonging, Merrythought’s Aunt Lucy is limited to just 1,958 pieces. Each bear is individually numbered and presented in a luxury British-made gift box with a Certificate of Authenticity.
