Meet Catkin. A little country mouse with a love of sunflowers, autumn leaves and cosy afternoons!

Catkin is an enchanting handmade artist mouse created by Fiona Wells, the talented British bear artist behind Bumble Bears.

Standing just 10cm tall, Catkin has wonderfully tousled cream-coloured fur, large upright ears, delicate whiskers and a sweet, characterful little face.

Her beautiful country-style floral dress features golden sunflowers, little seed heads and botanical details in warm, earthy shades. Delicate cream lace trims the hem and neckline, while a little brown ribbon adds the perfect finishing touch.

We rather imagine Catkin living in a cosy cottage beside a field of sunflowers, collecting seeds for the winter and keeping a particularly well-stocked biscuit tin!

Fiona Wells has been creating unique handmade bears and characters since 1995. Originally from Conwy in North Wales, she now works from her fabric-filled conservatory in Southampton.

Her beautiful craftsmanship has earned her two Firsts at the British Bear Artist Awards and a First at the National Artist Bear Awards.
