Asquiths Edwin Mohair Teddy Bear | Made in England – Limited Edition of 100

Meet Edwin. A new Asquiths bear with a little bit of our past behind him.

Asquiths has a long history with teddy bears, and in years gone by we even had our own Asquiths Teddy Bears made. We are therefore rather delighted to be bringing that tradition back with a new generation of bears, made here in England especially for Asquiths.

And this handsome fellow is Edwin.

Standing approximately 40cm tall, Edwin is a traditional mohair collector's teddy bear with wonderfully long limbs and a beautifully expressive face. His warm golden mohair has a slightly tousled appearance, giving him the timeless character of a bear who somehow looks as though he has been around for rather longer than he actually has.

Edwin has dark, bright eyes, a strong black nose and a softly shaped muzzle. His generously proportioned feet feature contrasting pale paw pads, while his long arms and legs give him a wonderfully traditional teddy bear silhouette.

A beautiful deep burgundy velvet ribbon is tied simply around his neck, providing the perfect finishing touch to his warm golden colouring.

Only 100 Edwin bears have been made, making him a particularly special addition to an Asquiths or traditional teddy bear collection.

And Edwin comes with something rather lovely of his own. Each bear is presented in an Asquiths cloth bag and accompanied by his own Asquiths Teddy Bear Passport featuring a photograph of the actual individual bear. It is a lovely record of exactly which Edwin has come home with you.

For Asquiths, Edwin represents more than a new teddy bear. He is part of the return of an old Asquiths tradition and a new chapter in our teddy bear story.
