Jenny Wren Draws

Jenny Davies of Jenny Wren Draws is a wildlife artist based in Beverley, East Yorkshire. Her love of painting began in childhood with a tiny watercolour set and a framed picture of Noddy. Inspired by the detailed illustrations in children’s books and a cherished bird guide illustrated by Raymond Harris Ching, Jenny developed a lasting passion for wildlife art, especially birds.

After studying English Literature and spending years working in London and Yorkshire, she returned to her creative roots. Her own nature observations and photography now serve as inspiration for her detailed artwork. Jenny shares her studio with her loyal (and snoring) assistant, a beagle affectionately known as “Beaglebum.”
