This replica is inspired by none other than "Baerle," the oldest jointed Teddy Bear preserved in their archives, dating back to 1905.
Baerle, the original Teddy Bear, not only served as a visual model but also as the muse behind this meticulously detailed reproduction, capturing its essence in its current state. ASQUITHS was established in 1984 and became one of the World's first Teddy Bear Shops. In March 2023 Asquiths passed into the safe hands of Rachel and has moved to its new home, still within Henley on Thames.
The Teddy Bears and some of their furry friends can be found in their new Grade II listed home in the centre of Henley and just a short stroll from the river Thames.
