Daniel’s journey began with ‘The Teddy Bear Catalogue’ by Peggy and Alan Bialosky, published in 1980. This book revealed to him the incredible variety of teddy bears available. Over the past 40 years, Daniel’s collection has flourished, featuring unique and early pieces, quirky comic characters, and rare finds.

Daniel is a consultant in this field and organizes a specialist teddy bear auction four times a year in association with Special Auction Services (Newbury); he also advises clients and collectors, and deals through his website and at various shows.

He is passionate about promoting the teddy bear and toy hobby to all and organizes the annual 200 Years of Childhood fair in London, 13th October 2024.
